Painting Number 9 in my rooster series of 10. While living abroad in Australia, Germany and Brazil (visiting many Fazendas, Farms, and Hof ), I was able to capture oodles of rooster photos. My vision was that someday I would Paint a collection of these beautiful roosters. While painting I can just feel the special memories of the morning sounds after a good night's sleep. This "Rooster Proud" was inspired because I noticed that he did crow all day long, not just in the morning.
