Welcome to Art Yourself StudioFine Artist with a Masters Degree in Teaching
My goal for Art Yourself Studio is to help you create a place to find ways to express yourself. Whether that is by bringing one of my original works into your home to help express your style, or by coming to the studio to take a class & explore your inner artist self through learning. "Capture the Moment" I create to fulfil my need to capture all that I see in this beautiful world. I love getting lost in the other side of my brain which brings me back to the place and time in which I experienced the moment. Its like a mini vacation. It is my hope others can relate based on the same joy as I felt when I was pulled to create the art. I hope that it touches your heart and tickles your fancy that it helps you smile and feel good when you see the painting in your home. Take a look around and explore! I hope you find Art Yourself Studio a place that helps you turn your inspiration into art. |

Scarfs for a CauseYears ago when I first started teaching I worked at Vista Maria, a school for wayward girls. It was a great program for these girls, but it was a lock down. The girls were placed there by the courts: a juvenile jail. I have never forgotten about my time there, and the girls that the program helped. By supporting AFG, you are helping these girls to not end up lost, homeless, or in a juvenile jail.
