This painting originated as a co painting with Elon Brazil (a famous Brazilian artist). Then she sat in my American studio with just a blue layer for 7 years. I started painting her and added the stain glass windows and the city. Then my Eldest daughter was told she had a cancerous tumor and the doctors operated. I kept thinking of the Virgin Mary and the religious symbols in this painting gave me hope and strength to be strong for my Girl. I have hope that her future will be bright. I first heard this song sung by Anita Dauch and have never forgot about it. I hope you can feel the passion, prayers, hopefulness in this painting as I did while painting her.
